Fantastic barbecue! Great coffee. Love the vibe of the entire restaurant. Love being able to get Crank & Boom ice cream as well! Only complaint is the need for a high chair.

The absolute best Brisket I've ever had and easily in my top 5 favorite meals of all time. I am from Chattanooga, TN and we have lots of local BBQ joints in town; at least 6 a 5 minute drive from my house. Nothing comes close to Thatcher's Brisket that I had on a solo motorcycle trip a month ago. I like it so much that I am riding back up with my wife tomorrow morning solely for more of that delicious meat! I can't wait!

I travel thousands of miles a year and eat at a lot of places. Hands down this is the most amazing BBQ I’ve ever had! The pulled pork was Simply perfect! Highly recommend!!! I hope I’m back in the area soon I can only imagine how wonderful brisket and ribs are.

Tratchers is hands down amazing, we were looking for new places to eat, so we tried it out. Its definitely not what it looks like on the outside, we really enjoyed talking to one of the men from the back about the food, the best loaded fries I've ever had, and the philly's were phenomenal. We will definitely be going back. P.s it was just a little cold inside but it was worth it once we got the food

The food online looked amazing so I decided to give this place a shot. Was let down by the quality of food however. I ordered brisket with two side, waffle fries(dollar extra) and jalapeno bites(1.50 extra). The sides were okay but the brisket was nothing like what you'd expect from a BBQ joint. Was thinly sliced and extremely dry and hardly enough there to justify the money spent on it. The rub used did taste decent, but everything else lacked. I decided to give it another whirl while I was there, because I was still hungry due to lack of meat. I opted to try a hot dog with chili, cheese, slaw and mustard. Bread looked amazing but everything else was a let down on flavor. Did i mention the hotdog was almost 8 dollars.

Thatchers is hands down the best restaurant in the Jackson area. They offer amazing food and some stellar coffee and donuts. The owners also help the community out so much, 11/10 restaurant in a town that is full of some not to good ones.EAT AT THATCHERS!!!

Great food, great people, great times always something going on down there and when your ready for a treat you can get some ice cream or donuts. You know what? Get crazy order both and eat some sweet treats while losten to local artist play always a fun time at Thatcher's

Probably the best place in town to have an excellent meal at good prices and good atmosphere.

Speechless. Food was outstanding. The ribs were super tender and juciy, cornbread sweet & spicy and buttery. Just plain good food. And the folks there are amazing too! I'm not from Jackson, but if anyone is passing through, or even if you live in Jackson and haven't been there, GO now.

The barbecue is excellent, melts in your mouth! The chili is a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy. Get a Fresh donut, put some bacon on it (or choose from 9 other toppings, and a variety of fillings and icings.) Enjoy a great cup of coffee or try some espresso! Friendly service, great environment, interesting conversation. Perfect place for a lunch with friends or a delicious dinner.

Love this place. They have the best doughnuts, phillycheese steak and pork. Definitely worth a try if you are in Jackson. You will not be disappointed.

Waited 20 minuets for ribs then I was told it would be another hour to hour and a half before they would be ready, they could have told me right away they were not ready. I will not be going back.Strick two management supposed to have reached out to family members promising free ribs if I delete my review. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, they should have come to me directly. Does not speak well of his political aspirations. If he can't come to me with my issues at his resteraunt why trust him in Frankfort?

Currently the best eats in town. The brisket is awesome, so is the burgoo, and that ice cream is something else. And so are the street tacos. Friendly staff too.

I could quite possibly drive close to 2 hours any day of the week to get to this ADORABLE quaint and cozy BBQ joint... I heard of their amazing sweets, unfortunately I was there with about 60 other people and I got distracted and forgot to pick some up BUT the servings are huge and green beans are delicious... my family ate all the slaw and fries and chicken and pork and brisket til their pants were unbuttoned... my only suggestion is an expansion and maybe doing some pop ups or even better a food trick that heads closer to Lexington/Jessamine area! Shawn and his wife are so sweet and warm!
